Our sweet miniature horse, Sophie, officially retired from community involvement at Hartland Oaks on November 22, 2025  after being diagnosed with COPD in mid-October. From the moment we received that diagnosis, we knew her world needed to slow down — and so it did. Sophie had earned her rest.
